History of Luang Pho Yai Sriwichai: It is an ancient Buddha image that is hundreds of years old. It was originally left in the sun for a long time. Villagers have made thatched roofs for sun protection and rain protection. Until the community came and built a temple in 1767, formerly known as Wat Hai Sok before changing its name to the present Wat Pho Si But there is still a parenthesis at the end that the temple is lost. Later, the chapel was built to cover the Buddha image in 1899 until now it has become an important Buddha image of the people of Nong Bua Lam Phu city. People come to worship and pray for blessings regularly.
